· John Basel gave report on Level 4,5 South State. Meet was very successful financially.

· Kevin Muenz gave report on Level 4,5 North State.

· Scott Crouse gave report on Level 6 – Elite State.

· Bret Stout gave website update. All information and forms will be available on the web.

-State Meet Bids

IGA bid given by Nolen Hymen.

Cypress bid given by Tom Meadows.

· Gil Elsass gave regional report. Level 6 camp July 14-17 in Austin. Level 7 July 14-17 camp in San Antonio.

Regional Championships will be in Norman, OK on April 7-9. Future Stars Competition will be October 15^th at ASI in Dallas. Vault bonus proposal discussed.

-Region III Board made the following changes

Eliminate the 14 and over Level 7 age groups beginning in the 2005-06 season.

Increase the qualifying score to 47 a/a for the Level 7’s. This score will be reviewed midway through the 05-06 season.

Increase the qualifying score to 47 a/a for the Level 6’s. This score will be reviewed midway through the 05-06 season.

Raise the Region III Championship entry fee to $75 (the maximum allowed by the JOPC) and require a $10 per athlete rebate to the region instead of the current $5.

· Financial Report given by Kevin Muenz. Jeff Dow is up for reelection of this position. Motion to accept the financial statement. Motion Passes.

· Sims Report given by Brian Kiser. Currently account has $51,175. Make-up of board was discussed. Brian announced his resignation effective after GAT meeting. Jerit Pogue will take over as President. Sims Foundation will host a poker tournament at the GAT convention.

· Greg Schram gave the GAT Liaison Report. He is currently putting together speakers for GAT.

· Rules and Policies were discussed.

-State Committee Recommendations

· Motion to separate Level 4 six-year-olds and Level 4 seven-year-olds for team awards at the state meet. Motion Fails.

· Motion to combine Level 5 12+ age group with the 10-11 age group for the team competition at the state meet. Motion carries.

· Kevin Muenz is nominated for the position of State Chairman. Kevin wins.

· Jeff Dow is nominated for the position of Book Keeper. Jeff wins.
